While we are eagerly awaiting the release of some kickass Bollywood biopics to end 2017 on a high note, let’s not forget that our Western counterpart has lined up some amazing gifts for us. From getting an insight into the life of crime lord, John Gotti to learning about the creator of Wonder Woman; Hollywood has covered our ‘infotainment’ quota for the upcoming months. The Greatest Showman

This Christmas, get ready to cherish the fond memories of going to a good old circus with P.T. Barnum, founder of the legendary Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. When you have names like Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Zendaya and Rebecca Ferguson, making the stellar star-cast of the film, you can already imagine how exciting the journey is going to be. Our beloved Wolverine, Hugh Jackman will play the American showman Barnum. The movie is slated for a December 25 release.

Directed by Reginald Hudlin, Marshall is an American biographical thriller movie that gives us an insight into the life of Thurgood Marshall, who was the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, and this movie will touch base with one of the pivotal cases that defined his career. Chadwick Boseman plays the titular role, while other cast members include Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, James Cromwell, and Josh Gad. The movie is releasing on October 13 and we are really excited to watch this one.

Christopher’s toys inspired the magical world of ‘Winnie the Pooh’. Domhnall Gleeson plays A.A. Milne, and Margot Robbie plays Daphne Milne, his wife. John Travolta is at his notorious best as the “Dapper Don” aka the head of Gambino crime family. While, he lived and died in the crime world, his son chose to leave that life and redeem himself and the Gotti name. This movie is expected to release on December 15, 2017.

Set in the 1940s, this movie will also explore his relationship with his wife, Elizabeth and Olive Byrne and how their feminist ideals helped Marston come up with a powerful and inspirational superhero like Wonder Woman.

The movie is expected to release on October 13 in the US.

Starring Colin Firth and Rachel Weisz, ‘The Mercy’ is based on the true story of amateur sailor, Donald Crowhurst, who made a disastrous attempt in 1968, to win the Golden Globe Race. What follows thereafter is a shocking tale of travelling the world alone by sea and the various attempts he made to cover up the failures he experienced in the journey. Weisz will be playing his wife, Clare Crowhurst in the movie. This movie is expected for a 2018 release in the UK.

Ansel Elgort will play the group leader Joe Hunt and Emma Roberts will play his love interest. Kevin Spacey and Taron Egerton too are a part of this film, promising a stellar show.
