Diana Penty, who launched Gigi Hadid’s make-up collection in India, has praised the model, saying her achievements and journey is an inspiration for many. Diana launched Hadid’s Maybelline x Gigi Hadid Limited Edition Collection in Mumbai on January 11. “Gigi needs no introduction. She is a really very strong and successful woman and a huge inspiration to a lot of young women around the world with what all she has achieved at such a young age and now she has come up with her collection,” Diana told IANS.

The “Cocktail” actress also said the story behind Hadid coming out with her own collection is interesting. “It is a very interesting story of how it happened because Gigi felt that she couldn’t find the products and the colours that she wanted in one palette under one brand to get one look. So, she felt motivated to come out with a brand that had all the colours that we need to create one look and which is affordable.” On the film front, Diana will be seen in “Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns” and “Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran”.

Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar believes that it is the woman, who is more harassed than the man, but it is not true all the time. Answering a query on this at a media interaction here, he said: “I don’t think that would be true from existing records or information out there on public domain. Farhan, the brand ambassador for Linen Club, was present on Friday at the inauguration of their exclusive brand outlet here. About his personal style mantra, he said: “I think the important thing is to be yourself, to have an individual style quotient. You don’t need to necessary follow what other people are doing.

“It is about being comfortable, it is about being yourself. I think that is most important to me as far as personal style mantra is concerned.” On celebrity looks, Farhan, asked which celebrities’ style statement does he love and if he is conscious about his looks in public, said: “I love my own style statement, and I don’t really have an airport look.

“But of course, if you are going somewhere like a red carpet event so you dress accordingly. It’s not forced on you but you have to respect where it is that you are going. Within that, you still have the opportunity to still do your own thing. That’s where our individuality plays an important role.” Farhan was last seen in “Lucknow Central”, directed by Ranjit Tiwari, along with Diana Penty and in a special appearance in “Daddy” with Arjun Rampal.

Bollywood and its fixation with prisons and the life of inmates has been continuing for decades now. Yet the way new directors are experimenting with this concept is something to look forward to. Recently, we came across Yash Raj Films' ‘Qaidi Band' starring Aadar Jain and Anya Singh. The movie talks about a bunch of innocent undertrials who form an orchestra inside the jail. But, will their story be similar to Kishen Mohan Girhotra's fight for freedom? For those wondering who is Kishen, he is none other than our Bollywood's rockstar Farhan Akhtar who will play a jail inmate in the upcoming movie ‘Lucknow Central'. The trailer of this much-anticipated film is out and by the looks of it, audience can expect something new and different from this movie. Farhan sheds his rockstar-on-stage avatar but does not lose his musical connect and that's one of the reasons why we are eagerly awaiting this film.

The story plot is simple yet intriguing. Akhtar plays an aspiring singer from Moradabad, who gets accused of murder and ends up in Lucknow Central Jail awaiting trial for a death penalty. While in jail, he crosses paths with Diana Penty, who plays an NGO worker and wants to form a Band of Prisoners for a band competition. Farhan befriends 4 other inmates and thus ensues their struggle to break free from prison. How the protagonist's life progresses inside the jail premises and how music comes to their aid weaves the rest of the plot. Farhan Akhtar looks really convincing as the small town boy who is falsely accused of murder and although we couldn't figure out much about Diana Penty's character, she will definitely be someone to look forward to.  The surprise element was actor Ronit Roy who within the first few seconds won our hearts with his badassery.

The movie also stars Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Ravi Kishan and Rajesh Sharma among others and is slated to release on 15th September, 2017.
