People have voted Tom Hanks as the ‘greatest actor of all time’ and we completely agree with the poll, because we don’t think there’s anyone who can beat him when it comes to badassery and acting prowess. However, over the weekend Hanks found his name on a new ‘hit’ list, which has left him baffled and us in splits. Honestly, Tom Hanks has all the reasons in the world to be scared because he is now on the infamous kill list of Arya Stark from ‘Game Of Thrones’.

All the ‘Game of Thrones’ fans out there will unanimously agree that Arya Stark’s never-ending kill list is literally a nightmare for her enemies. Despite wiping out so many people, the list that includes the names of people who’ve wronged Arya’s family only gets longer. And Littlefinger’s oh-so-satisfying death proved why Arya Stark is the most savage thing that could have ever happened to GOT.

But, while the deaths in the show are all justified, what has Hanks ever done wrong to the Wolf Girl aka the youngest daughter of the Stark family?  It all started when Maisie Williams, Hanks and professional boxer Anthony Joshua appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show’. During the conversation, Graham mentioned how Maisie’s fans are so specific about her list and pose weird requests in front of her.

Apparently, Maisie’s fans ask her to recite the names and then add their names to the list. Why? Why will you ever want Arya to kill you? “A lot of people come up to me in the street and they want me to recite the names, but then add their name,” Maisie said during the show.

Norton pounced on this opportunity and asked her to recite the names on the show, which she did and eventually ended up adding three new names to that list. Soon the music takes a scarier and ominous turn and Maisie or should we say Arya, turns slowly to the camera and starts reciting the names.

If even Tom Hanks, Anthony Joshua and Graham Norton aren’t safe and have found their names on Arya’s kill list, then this world is sure a dangerous place to live in.

In other news, we still have a long way to go to see who’s Arya’s next target in ‘Game Of Thrones’ season 8. It is expected to hit our TV screens by 2019.

HBO is making sure we don’t miss ‘Game of Thrones’ too much. They have released a behind-the-scenes footage of the Aryan and Brienne fight from episode 4 of season 7, as part of ‘The Game Revealed’, HBO’s behind-the-scenes video series. If we were to list out the 10 best moments from ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7, the Arya-Brienne fight would feature among the top 5 for sure. Of course, the train loot scene would top the list.

Trained by the Faceless Men at the House of Undying in Braavos, Arya Stark is one of the most skilled killers in the Seven kingdoms now. Watching her slay Walder Frey and his entire house was hugely satisfying. But her training scene with Brienne, with Sansa and Littlefinger watching, was one of the most satisfying scenes in the season. That is the first time her insanely badass fighting skills are revealed in the show, and Sansa’s jaw rightly remains dropped to the floor.

The behind-the-scenes video reveals how Maisie Williams and Gwendoline Christie trained for the scene. While we do know Maisie, who is right-handed, insisted on wielding the sword with her left hand just like Arya does in the books, what we didn’t know was that body doubles were used for Maisie and Gwendoline.

‘Game Of Thrones’ season 7 is over and so is our motivation and excitement to look forward to Mondays. While, most of us are still hung over the last episode, rejoicing Littlefinger’s death, grinning about Jon and Dany taking  incest to another level, and dreaming about the wight dragon Viserion crumbling The Wall, there’s one guy who went a step ahead and created something unimaginable and exceptionally brilliant to say the least. No we are not talking about any new fan theory; it is a new mashup aka cover that has now become internet’s favourite child.

Taylor Swift recently released her latest, as people are calling it, revenge anthem ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ from her upcoming album ‘Reputation’ and since then people have officially lost their sh*t. While we were looking forward to covers of this epic song, we barely imagined someone to painstakingly go through each and every episode of Game of Thrones to create a mashup of this song. Let us all bow down to this YouTuber Matthijs Vlot, who edited the video with such perfection that we are kind of hooked to this version now, more than the original one.

If Arya Stark and Olenna Tyrell saying “I don’t like you” does not give you Goosebumps, we wonder what can. In fact, many were quick to give Swift’s song a Westeros spin, calling it a song that’s most suited for Arya Stark, given how vengeful she is. This guy also made Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, and Olenna Tyrell, sing this revenge anthem better than Taylor Swift and for this he deserves all the respect in the world.

There were numerous theories, many predictions, countless bets and so many calculations about that one major death of the finale. However, we were given the ultimate satisfaction after watching the death of Lord Baelish by the hands of Arya Stark. The wonderful tale of his death starts spinning when he tries to maliciously make Sansa believe that she is forever going to be threatened by Arya. The best part about this scene is that Sansa just allows herself to be manipulated.

Later, Arya is summoned in front of every one and the whole scene makes you believe that goddamn Lady of Winterfell has fallen prey to his deceitful malicious ways. You have got to give it to Baelish for him so convincingly conniving, that you adore hating his guts. So he is as usual smiling in a corner when Sansa starts throwing accusations in the air , all this while looking at Arya, until, she casually takes his name. You are baffled, Baelish is surpised, a look that is so not him. What I really liked about his death was the fact that there was no catharsis for us. We don’t really fee l sorry for him, he had to die, it was estimated that Arya will do it and so it happened.

The Stark sisters prove to you that blood is indeed thicker than malice and manipulation and honestly, Sansa owed this to herself and everyone. We are totally digging the new version of an evolved Sansa and hope she gets to kill someone herself (Theon?), before the series ends.

Disclaimer: There will be some spoilers from the second episode and it’s your bad that you haven’t seen the episode yet. Now is the time to catch up, so go and watch it.

We are already in the seventh season of ‘Game of Thrones’, yet it seems as if it was only yesterday we saw Daenerys Targaryen’s badass avatar when she walked out of the fire with a dragon on her shoulder. To refresh your memories, that was in the first season. Talking about Season 1, it was special for many reasons and Arya Stark and her direwolf, Nymeria were one of them.

Let’s take you on a walk down the memory lane, in the first season Arya Stark bid adieu to Nymeria and let’s be honest, that was one of the most emotional scenes to watch, not bigger than Hodor’s death though. Now, fast forward six seasons ahead into the present time and that iconic and unexpected reunion has finally happened in the second episode of season 7, “Stormborn”.

Yes, Arya Stark finally met Nymeria (not from the Sand Snakes), which not only connected the dot left since 2011, but also gave GOT fans across the world a reason to rejoice. Now, while some were expecting Nymeria to have a bigger role to play in fulfilling Arya’s vengeance, looks like the writers brought the two together only to drift them apart after sometime. So, basically it wasn’t a reintroduction of the direwolf character, but a scene only made to appease the fans that were waiting for the two to meet.

The moment Arya was preparing to fight a group of wolves, an enormous female direwolf comes into the picture to stop them and Arya soon recognized who she was. Nymeria leads her own wolfpack now. However, when she begged Nymeria to travel to north with her, she refused and Arya was quick to notice the change in Nymeria. So, they parted their ways with Arya’s last words to her childhood pet being “That’s not you”, which is now etched in our hearts forever. You aren’t a true fan if you still didn’t get the real meaning behind this line. A small hint: the young Arya Stark had a similar conversation with her father, when she was told that she will grow up to be a lady and she had said “That’s not me”.

Apart from this tear-jerking scene, the second episode was brilliantly penned out and was really satisfying to watch. However, this episode has left us with one question. Was Nymeria’s appearance incorporated only for the fans or does she have a bigger role to play in the upcoming episodes?
