If one was to explain a larger than life experience in one word, the first thing that will come to our minds is Bollywood. Nothing, I repeat nothing can beat Bollywood movies, when it comes to masala, big fat weddings or parties. But, actress Rani Mukherji proved us wrong by hosting this lavish and grand (please add a couple of extra ‘A’s in your mind) party, which looked like a scene from a big-budget film, sans the script.
While we were still recuperating from the glitz and glamour at Shah Rukh Khan’s Alibaug birthday party, Bollywood was all geared up to have a gala time at Rani Mukherji’s daughter Adira’s birthday as she turned two this year. And we were not exaggerating when we said that it was a grand party, the guests vouch for the same. Shilpa Shetty, posted a picture from the birthday on her Instagram and captioned it, “Adira’s birthday party was like the premier of a magnum opus. Well done, Rani Mukherji.”

The line-up of guests was pretty impressive and these pictures are proof that Bollywood sure knows how to party, be it on-screen or in real life.
The party was reportedly hosted by Rani and Aditya Chopra at the Yash Raj Studios on Saturday evening. From Shah Rukh Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan to Karan Johar, everyone attended the birthday with their kids and instantly gave us a rush nostalgia of how we used to celebrate birthdays as kids.
Our parents too used to accompany us at our friend’s birthday bash and interact with other parents while we stuffed our mouths with whatever cake was left on the table.
Well, this ‘parents’ meet’ was surely something and this picture of Kareena’s kid Taimur hanging out with Karan Johar’s kids Yash and Roohi, and making new friends, is possibly the cutest take-away from the party.
