On the account of an upcoming award show, King Khan is hosting a talk-show with the talented beauties of Bollywood, and its first contestant was none other than Deepika Padukone. At the show, Shah Rukh read a beautiful letter describing Deepika’s journey in the world of glitz and glamour, penned by her mother, Ujjala Padukone.

The letter read about how Deepika has been strong while battling the unpredictable circumstances, despite which, she did not forget her roots and maintained the goodness and light which was there in her heart. Deepika, who was in good spirits, got very emotional after Shah Rukh read out the letter to her. This made the actress break into tears. Knowing the gentleman that Shah Rukh is, he immediately got off his seat, wiped her tears and consoled her.

Deepika shares a very affable bond with her mom and talking about it to a daily, she had said, “We all inspire each other in different ways, but it’s my mother who inspires me the most. She is the backbone of our family. My father is a celebrity and my sister started her golf career, but my mother was never in the spotlight. She is happy taking a backseat. My mother is the real hero in my family.”

Shah Rukh will be hosting other beautiful actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif.
