Anil & Sonam Kapoor To Play Reel Life Father-Daughter In 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'

Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor have never held back from praising each other publicly and are always the first to root for each other. Sonam has always proudly flaunted that she is daddy’s girl and she never hides it. Well, looking at Anil, it’s hard to believe that he is her father because the man is ageing with sheer grace. 

Remember when they appeared together on Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee with Karan’? The father-daughter duo literally cracked everyone up and enjoyed every moment with each other. Their camaraderie was spot-on and we could feel the warmth they share.

We know there are many who would love to see the two together in a film, playing their real-life roles on the reel as well. And believe it or not, it’s finally happening.

Pretty exciting, isn’t it? Anil and Sonam will soon be seen in a film together playing the father-daughter duo. And that’s not it. The supremely talented Rajkummar Rao is also part of this project and Juhi Chawla will also be making a comeback with his film.

Titled as ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, the movie will be directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his sister Shelly Dhar. This will be Shelly’s directorial debut and Vinod will be helping her with this project. 

Interestingly, the name of the film itself has a close connection with Anil’s blockbuster movie ‘1942: A Love Story’ which gave birth to the evergreen love song ‘ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga’. There is literally no one who hasn’t heard this song at least once in their lifetime.
