Akshaye Khanna finds himself facing the heat from Delhi’s health department as the actor is seen smoking on the posters and ads of his recent release, Ittefaq. The officials have also issued a notice to Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, the producers of the mystery thriller.
It reads: “The promotional material poster of the film being publicised in media is in gross violation of Section 5 of the Cigarette & Other Tobacco Products Act 2003. Bollywood films have a lasting effect and influence the youth in a major way.” Abhay Chopra’s directorial venture released on November 3.
