Soon after wrapping up her act as a hockey player in Shaad Ali’s Soorma, Taapsee Pannu will return to hold the hockey stick yet again in Manmarziyan. Although she will not essay the role of a professional player in Anurag Kashyap’s film, the actor will be seen as a shop owner who harbours a love for the sport.
The actor who has been undergoing training in the sport for Soorma, based on hockey champion Sandeep Singh’s life, says the experience will also help her for Kashyap’s film. She says, “The training I received for Soorma was on the lines of that given to professional athletes. So, I can benefit from it when I have to play the role of a woman who loves the sport.”
