19th November, 2012, Mumbai: Pran, the veteran Bollywood actor, has been admitted to hospital for respiratory problems. According to reports, he had come to Lilavati hospital last Friday for a check-up; but he was admitted after it arose to be a respiratory problem. Now, he is doing fine and there is nothing to worry about.
The ninety two year old actor is counted among one of the most popular villains in the Hindi film industry. He has around 350 films in his kitty. Some of his popular movies include ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Khandaan’, ‘Purab Aur Paschim’, ‘Upkar’, ‘Half Ticket’, ‘Bari Behen’, ‘Aurat’ and ‘Don’.
For his contribution to the Indian film industry, he was given Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India in 2001.
