Lately, Bollywood has started producing a lot of biopics. The year 2016 itself saw the release of five biopics and some of them performed pretty well at the box office. There was a time when we loved happily-ever-after drama and fiction was more a form of entertainment for us.Well, we still love a good fictitious piece with a happy ending, but we also like to see more of real stories these days. ‘Neerja’, ‘M.S.Dhoni’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Azhar’, and ‘Aligarh’ are a few examples of such movies.
It’s great to see celebrities play real life characters and give us an insight into their life. The story about their life, struggle and what all they went through to make it this big makes them an interesting subject.
Biopics are in demand and are the new taste of viewers. We list out 5 biopics that one should definitely watch out for this year.
